FARM TO SCHOOL PROGRAM: Nourishing Native Foods Win National Cooking Competition

The Cooking Up Change competition, part of the Healthy Schools Campaign and the Farm to School program, allows students to actively address the issue of local foods and school nutrition. Teams of high school and college students are challenged to create a healthy, great-tasting meal that meets high nutritional standards, incorporates a local food item, draws from readily available ingredients and can be prepared in a school cafeteria.

City Stretches Phys Ed Curriculum Through Yoga

For some students, physical education classes offer a needed respite from the monotony of shuffling between stuffy classrooms.

Global Coherance: Experience the Planetary Shift on an Uptilt

A planetary shift is under way. Many sense this shift internally and we perceive that time is accelerating. It’s hard to keep up. We’re constantly bombarded by an ever-increasing number of choices. Waiting behind the near-panicked hypnotherapist, was Carolee Hazard, 43, who couldn't help but notice her fellow shopper's potential jam.

Positive Expectancy

We often hear that we're powerful manifestors, creating and manifesting our experiences all of the time -- including our relationships, our interactions with others, and our work.

Does it always feel that way? Not so much, at least in some key area of our lives.

Sometimes it may feel like you're bombarded with negativity or things that provoke fear and anxiety, or just distract you from the 'desirable vision' -- like many of us, I've been in that place! And it can be a powerful practice to cultivate positive expectancy.
